While there are no hard set rules, our unique matcha varieties are best enjoyed as lattes rather than with water alone. All our matcha are made of tea leaves grown in full sun, unshaded, without removing any of their stems and veins. This results in an astringent tea when mixed with water alone; however, when combined with whole milk or a creamy milk alternative, they are possibly the most flavorful & delicious tea lattes you will taste! Our farmers chose to create these full-sun matcha because of the intensity of the resulting flavor and nutrients. This is also in line with the Wild Orchard way of doing things: wild, regenerative, organic, and processed as little as possible.
